Rashomon Blues : A Sword fighter and his wife are assaulted by a notorious criminal resulting in a rape and a murder. The testimonies presented at the trial are varied in accordance to each witness's point of view. Eventually, the fourth witness, who found the body ,reveals that he , in fact, saw the entire incident, and his version is also completely different from the others. Who is telling the truth? What is truth? Profound concern about humanity in a civilized society, and each person's perspective of the event. Set in contemporary Mumbai, Rashomon Blues is a modern day adaptation of Akira Kurosawa's 1950 classic 'Rashomon'.

Foremost reason of choosing this play is vanishing humanity in modern times,Also about the perspectives of each human being in question. Rashomon is a story of 12th century Japan, a samurai and his wife are attacked by the notorious bandit Tajomaru, and the samurai ends up dead. Tajomaru is captured shortly afterward and is put on trial, but his story and the wife's are so completely different that a psychic is brought in to allow the murdered man to give his own testimony. He tells yet another completely different story. Finally, a woodcutter who found the body reveals that he saw the whole thing, and his version is again completely different from the others. An episode (rape and murder) in a forest is reported by four witnesses, each from their own point of view. - Who is telling the truth? What is truth?
