ActWay is a training process through which we infuse the various aspects of the craft into the very being of the actor. The main objective is to ignite introspection within the participants so they can perform with utmost confidence. It is an avant-garde actor's training programme through which we will impart training for all possible aspects of performance- Angikam (Body Language) (Chhau, Thang Ta), Vachikam (Speech and Diction also Breathing and meditation) Aharyam(role play) use of space, light and costume to bring in Satvikam ( performance of the actor)
ActWay participants also get the first preference to audition and be a part of Ranga Theatre Productions.
Bijon Mondal
In the pursuit of excellence in performing arts he has involved various theatrical elements on stage to conceptualize, design and direct many critically acclaimed productions including Late shri Dharamveer Bharti's AndhaYug; 'Pi -In Search of God's Name, Based on Yann Martel's Novel Life of Pi; Sophocles's Oedipus Rex; Quixotic Wonderland, Rashomon Blues and few more under his own banner Ranga7heatre. His work has taken him to major festivals in India and abroad. In 2011, he was awarded Vinod Doshi Fellowship, Pune.
Preeti Gupta
A successful Tv actress, having done leading roles in KAHANI GHAR GHAR KI and KASTURI , Is trained at the Lee Strasberg Theatre and Film Institute, New York, home of Method Acting also the school of stalwarts. She has worked in numerous plays in the US and in India. Since her return from the States, she has completed two indie films, Mere Haule Dost and Blemished Light, and also played lead roles Arthur Miller's play, The Price and Guru Dutt.
Nitin Sharma:
Has been trained in performing arts from Ankur(founded by Dr laved Malik) and Sri Ram Centre for performing Arts, Delhi. He has been rigorously involved into film direction, leadership, team work workshops and acting teaching for cinema with eminent personalities lately. Nitin has been associated with Anupam Kher's Actor Prepares since 2012.
